Sew Your Own Tote Bag

experience level: beginner to intermediate 

a fun, relaxed, and beginner friendly introduction to sewing. no experience needed! you'll learn how to use a sewing machine, master essential sewing skills, and create your own tote bag to take home. you'll leave with a finished project, newfound confidence, and practical skills you can use for future sewing adventures.

what you'll learn

• how to set up and safely operate a sewing machine

• how to thread a machine and wind a bobbin

• how to sew straight lines with confidence

• key sewing machine stitches and when to use them

• basic sewing techniques and terminology

• how to construct and finish a simple tote bag project

what to expect

• a supportive learning environment (only 4 people to each session)

• please arrive 10 minutes before your chosen time slot to get settled in

• all equipment, tools and a notebook are provided for you
  

• each participant will have a sewing machine provided for them 

• want to learn on your own machine? bring it along! just let me know in advance via instant chat, email, or Instagram DM

• to celebrate your finished project, enjoy a complimentary glass of prosecco (or a non-alcoholic alternative) during the final 15 minutes of the workshop.
