here’s your chance to learn something fun, creative and a little bit niche!

a 3 hour 30 minute beginner friendly knicker making workshop, where you'll learn the foundations of sewing with stretch fabrics before making your very own pair of knickers from start to finish.

you’ll begin with an introduction to the sewing machine and the key techniques you'll need for lingerie making, including working with stretch fabrics, using a zigzag stitch and sewing with lingerie elastic.

you'll then put those skills into practice by choosing to make either a thong or bikini knicker, with step by step guidance throughout.

your fabric will be pre-cut and ready for you, and all patterns, materials, equipment and sewing machines are provided… so you can simply turn up and sew!

you’ll learn:

• how to sew with stretch fabrics
• how and when to use the zigzag stitch
• how to use an overlocker and understand how it can be used when sewing stretch garments
• key lingerie and sewing terminology
• how to attach lingerie elastic for a clean, professional finish
• how to construct your knickers from start to finish
• how to attach a decorative bow for the finishing touch

before the workshop:

you'll receive a pre-workshop form where you can select your required size, fabric option and whether you'd like to make a thong or bikini knicker. Your pieces will then be prepared and pre-cut ready for your session.

all materials, patterns and equipment are included.

each participant will have their own sewing machine allocated for the session. If you'd prefer to learn using your own machine, you're very welcome to bring it along .. just let me know in advance via the website chat, email or Instagram DM.

enjoy a complimentary glass of prosecco or a non-alcoholic alternative during the final 15 minutes of the workshop.
